Group Respite

The Group Respite program is offered at three locations in Greater Greensboro. The program is from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on certain days of the week depending on the location.  A nutritious lunch is provided. Group Respite allows individuals who are caring for family members an opportunity to have a break from caregiving responsibilities. It also gives the loved one receiving care a chance to enjoy activities, exercise, music, lunch and interaction with peers while in a safe and trusting environment and with close supervision.

ACE at First Baptist

The ACE at First Baptist program is a group respite site which opened in 1994 as a partnership between the Adult Center for Enrichment, Inc and First Baptist Church. It is available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday each week.

The  ACE at Muir’s Chapel program is a group respite site which opened in 1996 as a partnership between the Adult Center for Enrichment, Inc and Muir’s Chapel United Methodist Church. It is available Monday and Thursday each week.
